This project focused on a complete strategic redesign of the promotional graphics for our application's pages on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The primary goal was to create a compelling and professional set of visual assets that would capture the attention of potential users, clearly communicate the app's core value proposition, and ultimately drive an increase in downloads.
The existing App Store and Play Store presence was underperforming. The storefront failed to make a strong first impression in a competitive marketplace.
Generic & Unprofessional Appearance
The visuals were built using a mix of generic, stock-style illustrations that looked dated and did not convey a sense of quality or trustworthiness.
Weak Storytelling
The slides failed to tell a clear and compelling story. Key features and benefits were poorly highlighted, leaving potential users confused about the app's purpose.
Low Conversion
A weak and unappealing storefront leads to low user trust. We hypothesized that potential users were scrolling past our app in favor of competitors with a more polished and professional presence.
The solution is a vibrant, professional, and story-driven set of App Store visuals that immediately communicates quality and value. At the heart of this transformation was the shift from generic stock art to a custom, ownable illustration style.
The new App Store slides leverage this new visual language to tell a compelling story. Each slide combines a powerful headline, a concise benefit statement, and a clean UI mockup, all supported by the beautiful and engaging new brand illustrations. This creates a narrative that is easy for users to understand in just a few seconds of swiping.
